The SWIFT Navigator platform offer event venues and producers a mobile platform that provides all of the services needed to have a more productive and time-saving visit under one application. Our applications are designed to offer visitors an improved ROI by combining networking and navigation in one application that saves time and directs users to the right people, places, and services.

What are the benefits of using the myBCEC iPhone app?
The myBCEC iPhone application is a personal concierge for your mobile phone that combines networking and navigation to get you to the right people, places, and services. Within one simple application you can:
- Find your way around New England’s largest building.
- Find nearby restaurants, hotels, and retailers.
- Get real-time travel information for airport departures, traffic updates, and public transit issues.
- Update Twitter with the SWIFT Tweeter, a client for Twitter that auto-embeds the event hashtag for you and allows you to track, follow, and re-tweet event tweets.
What are the advantages of creating an account?
An account on the myBCEC iPhone application lets you personalize your mobile concierge for your event.
Setting up an account lets you:
- Share your Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages with others.
- Build a personal schedule of sessions.
- Send private email messages to others.
- Take private notes about people and sessions.
- Build a list of favorite people.
How do I set up an account?
- Go to your event in Events or Favorites
- You will see a screen that says:
- Customize your personal concierge on myBCEC by creating an account.

How do I manage my profile?
- Go to your event in Events or Favorites.
- Click on edit profile icon in bottom navigation bar.
- Add your social account information for Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Twitter – add your username
- Facebook: Add the link to your Facebook profile: http://www.facebook.com/kathleen.gilroy
If you don’t have a vanity url for your profile, just copy and paste the url from your profile page into your myBCEC profile. If you want a vanity url for your Facebook page (Facebook calls them usernames), here’s how to get one: http://www.facebook.com/username/
- LinkedIn: Find your public profile url by going to edit profile and then edit profile settings. Copy your url and paste it to your myBCEC profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/kathleengilroy
- Scroll down to add your name, title, and other information.
- Be sure to click update to save your changes.
How do I create favorites?
You can make favorites for people, sessions, and merchants.
For merchants
Go to nearby and find a listing. Go to detail page and then click Add to Favorites.
For people
You must be logged in. You will see a star at the top of the profile page. Click on the star to add a person to favorites.
For sessions
You must be logged in. Click on the dialog box in the at-a-glance menu, scroll down and save.
Or find the session page and click on the star.
How do I send private messages?
You must be logged in.
- Go to people under your event. If someone has enabled private emails, then you can click on the message icon.
- A message window will open and you can send an email.
- If you want to receive emails, you must enable this feature in your profile page. Go to edit profile and check Allow Private Messages.
Does the SWIFT Tweeter post my updates to Twitter?
Once you have entered your Twitter credentials, the SWIFT Tweeter adds your tweets automatically to your Twitter feed.
How do I manage my privacy?
You can create a profile in order to make favorites, take notes, and send messages.
You can also hide yourself or your affiliation by going to edit profile in the bottom nav bar for your event and then scrolling down and clicking
- Hide me completely
- Hide Affiliation/Title
- Hide contact info
How do I report a problem at the Boston Convention Center?
Under BCEC Basics you will find a form to report a problem you have experienced while visiting the BCEC.

before I struggle with the BB Storm have you tested it?
We have tested it on a simulator. One of our customers has been accessing SESMobile on his storm and says it looks and works fine.
